Moving the IROWG mailing list to lists.irowg.org

Dear Friends of IROWG,
As discussed during the IROWG-10 workshop, we are transitioning the IROWG mailing list to a new service provider. The time has come to make this move.

What You Need to Do  (for existing subscribers)

You should have received an email (as of Nov 18, 2024) from our new mailing list address:
This email will ask you to confirm your subscription to the IROWG Announcements list. Please reply to it as soon as possible to make sure you stay on the mailing list.

Trouble Finding the Email? (for existing or new subscribers)

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. If you still can’t find it or are new to the email list, visit https://lists.irowg.org and subscribe manually (this will trigger another confirmation email).

Note for New Subscribers: 
Approval from the co-chairs is required for subscription (after you submit your request via the website).

Key Dates

From now on, please send all emails to the new mailing list address (announcements@lists.irowg.org). While the old list will remain active temporarily, it will be permanently closed on 15 December 2024. For all the existing subscribers, please confirm your subscription to the new list well before this date. To avoid emails being flagged as spam, add the new mailing list address to your address book. You may still join the new email list after the deadline by following the instructions for the new subscribers (see above).

Benefits of the New Mailing List  

The new platform at https://lists.irowg.org offers several advantages:
  • Self-service registration and deregistration.
  • The ability to update your email address.
  • Options to manage delivery settings (e.g., pause emails).
  • Access to an archive of emails (starting from this migration).
