Automatically collected information
IROWG may collect and temporarily store certain technical information about users’ visit to the IROWG website for site management and security purposes. This information includes:
- The external URL (referrer) of the website that was used to enter the IROWG website (e.g. “http://xcompany.com/links/”);

Personal information
If users provide personal information via the IROWG website by completing a registration form for requesting regular updates on project activities, or by sending an email, IROWG will only use that personal information to inform users about project progress or to invite users to participation to e.g. user workshops. The information will be stored in an IROWG users list which is not made publicly available. If a user does not want that his / her personal information is stored in this list, then he/she can request the removal of the respective information from the list through an E-Mail sent to co-chairs@irowg.org.
